This policy explains how Vylio handles information when you use the Android application and this website.
Data stored on your device
Your video library, direct links, collections, playback progress, moments, notes, network locations and preferences are stored locally on your device. Vylio does not operate user accounts or developer servers that receive this library.
Connections you choose
When you inspect, play, cast or download an online video, Vylio connects from your device to the address you selected. A configured SMB or WebDAV location is contacted only when you browse or play from it. Those services may process your IP address and request information under their own policies.
Device and platform services
Vylio uses Android media and notification services for playback and downloads. Google Cast services are used when you choose a compatible Cast device. The current application does not include an analytics SDK and does not send a personal library to the developer.
Advertising and privacy choices
Vylio uses Google Mobile Ads to display banner, interstitial and app-open ads. Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address, ad interactions and diagnostic information to deliver, measure and protect ads. Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform displays the consent message configured for Vylio and stores your choice. You can reopen the privacy choices from the app settings when this option is required. Google Privacy Policy.
Permissions
Video access lets you select or browse videos you allow. Internet and network state support direct links, compatible network locations and Cast. Notifications and foreground services keep visible playback or download tasks working. Wake lock can keep playback active. You can change available permissions in Android settings.
Retention and deletion
Items remain on your device until you remove them, clear the app data or uninstall Vylio. Removing a library entry does not delete its original local video. Downloaded copies can be removed from within the application.
Website
This static website does not use cookies, analytics or contact forms. If you email support, your email provider and ours process the message so we can reply.
Children
Vylio is a general video utility and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through Vylio.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the application or its data practices change. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
